Who are we?
Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut is a humanitarian association established in 1878 that provides services within three main sectors: education, health, and social affairs. Among its numerous activities, Makassed runs several schools, a University with three faculties, a General Hospital and primary healthcare clinics that cater to over 100,000 individuals annually across Lebanon. Founded on Islamic values of tolerance, Makassed provides its services without any discrimination based on national origin or religion.
